Losing Weight One Pound At A Time On The Healthy Chocolate High Antioxidant Diet featured in the American Journal Of Bariatric Medicine

Slow and steady, steady and slow that’s the way we like to go.  Wonder what is the best option for losing weight if you want to keep it off?  Deborah Mandell, PhD, an eating disorder specialist had this to say,  ”Losing weight slowly isn’t just healthier, she says, it’s a better investment. Not only are you dropping pounds, you’re working on building habits that you’ll be able to maintain.”  I agree.  Having lost over 57 pounds and slowly losing a pound or two a week, I see myself safely reaching my long term health and weight goals.

Although Deborah Mandell was referring to losing weight with Weight Watchers, therelynetteweightloss are many options available to those of us who need to lose more than a few pounds.  Having tried all the popular diet plans with limited or no success, I chose the Chocolate Diet plan that was featured on the cover of the American Journal of Bariatric Medicine as the raw cacao diet.  Once I learned that the cold pressed raw chocolate product was extremely high antioxidant, and the shake was an excellent source of protein, 21 grams, it became clear that this yummy diet was also my smartest health choice.

I simply replace one or two meals a day with my high antioxidant Xocai meal replacement Chocolate Diet shake.  I eat normally the rest of the day, making sure to exercise 20 minutes a day and to drink lots of water.  I have learned how to be careful what I eat and also love the fact that I can eat healthy chocolate whenever I have a craving.  One Xocai Healthy Chocolate power square is just 33 calories!!!  A glass of water and a power square before a meal or snack curbs my cravings and is filled with the antioxidants we need to stay healthy.
